Browsing and contacting sellers requires no account and no personal data. Contact happens directly via WhatsApp/phone/Viber — otpado stores no messages.
We record anonymous listing statistics (views, contact-button clicks) without any personal identifiers. We use essential cookies only (session cookies for signed-in accounts); no tracking or advertising cookies.
Likes.Marking a scrapyard with a "like" requires signing in with Google. For those users only, we store the Google account's email and name (via Supabase Auth) and the like itself (which yard, when) — used solely to record your like and to prevent manipulation of the public counter. Likes are shown only as an aggregate number; who liked is never public. You can remove a like at any time, and you can delete your account yourself under /llogaria — deletion is immediate and removes your likes with it.
Reports. Signed-in users can report a scrapyard (a short free-text reason). For those users we store the report text, the yard concerned, and when it was filed, linked to the same Google account — used solely so our admin can review the problem. Reports are never public, and deleting your account removes your reports with it.
Seller business data (name, location, contact channels, photos) is stored with Supabase in Frankfurt, Germany (EU); hosting by Vercel in the EU region. Data subjects may request access or deletion via the contact above.
Yard location: during registration the app or browser asks once for the phone's GPS permission, solely to place the yard's pin on a map (two coordinates). The owner can move the pin by hand or add it later; there is no background tracking and buyers are never asked for their location. The pin, together with one photo of the yard entrance used only for our manual verification, is stored with the yard's account and becomes public only after the yard is approved. The in-app map and the automatic city fill-in on the web use OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation, UK); those services receive only the pin's coordinates.
